Mediazona discovered 60 tons of parcels sent by Russian soldiers from Ukraine back home, to small towns with a lower standard of living

While on the occupied territories, Russian soldiers were not only committing war crimes — they were trying to take the loot back to their hometowns, using SDEK delivery services. According to "Mediazona" investigation, in February-May, at least 4 thousand packages, weighing nearly 60 tons, were sent from the bordering towns between Ukraine, Russia and Belarus — most often to small Russian towns with low standards of living.
